When people talk about Gili on Lombok, the first thing thatcomes to mind is the three famous Gilis in the northwest; Gili Trawangan, GiliMeno, and Gili Air. Those three small islands are indeed very beautiful andstunning, but Lombok also has many other beautiful islands.

Location
This small island is located in the district of Sekotong,West Lombok Regency. To reach this island, you can rent a boat from two placesin Lombok; Lembar Harbor and West Sekotong Port. From Lembar Harbor, you mayneed around 40 minutes to get to Gili Nanggu. Meanwhile, from the West SekotongPort, Gili Nanggu can be reached in only about 15 minutes.
There are many boats that you can rent or charter to GiliNanggu. There is no fixed price so your negotiating ability will be very usefulhere. Normally, the round trip from West Sekotong to Gili Nanggu will cost youabout Rp300,000. One boat can accommodate 4 to 6 passengers.

Gili Nanggu presents a completely different atmospherecompared to Gili Trawangan. Here, you won’t find residents’ houses or gleamingresorts. Activities
Here, instead of world-group amenities, you will have atotally pristine and protected island ecosystem. The waters here are very calmso it is safe for you to swim. Around the beach there are also many trees soyou don’t need to worry about finding shades after you are satisfied playingwater.
You can also snorkel and feed fish that live on the coralreefs around the island. Food for fish can only be bought in the cottage foronly IDR lima,000. Always be careful not to step on coral reefs and catch fishhere. Make sure you also dispose of garbage in its place so that the waters ofGili Nanggu are kept clean.
